The smallest people in our lives can have concerns that need to be managed by physiotherapy. Our Paediatric Physiotherapist’s management is goal focused for children and their families.
Issues arising in childbirth, the early years, or acquired through their development are essential to be addressed to make a healthy journey to adulthood.
Our Paediatric Physiotherapist, Kirrilly Bleakley, has a Masters in Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy from Monash University and has received recognition from the Australian Physiotherapy Association as a Titled Paediatric Physiotherapist.
Kirrilly has experience with musculoskeletal, neurological and developmental conditions throughout childhood. She assesses, manages and treats conditions from birth to adulthood. With a strong emphasis on physical activity and sports participation, Kirrilly focuses on an active lifestyle for all children.
Kirrilly treats and manages a wide range of conditions for children of all ages and developmental stages, including:
congenital and genetic conditions
developmental delay
musculoskeletal injuries
growth related injuries
clients under the NDIS
Kirrilly also offers developmental assessment of:
gross motor skill
posture
movement patterns
coordination
We currently offer paediatric physiotherapy treatment at our Shellharbour clinic.
